About Mark Endacott

Mark qualified in 2000 with a BSc (Hons) physiotherapy degree from Brighton University. He then spent 2 years working at Ipswich Hospital, before joining Ipswich Town Football Club, where he spent the next 9 years. He ran the medical department at the academy for 4 years, and then spent 5 years with the 1st team squad where he led the development of the sports science and medical department in partnership with Loughborough University.

Mark's extensive experience with professional athletes has given him a valuable insight into the stages of recovery. This knowledge translates to sports injuries and rehabilitation at all levels.

He went on to train in the Eastern and Western Approach to Acupuncture, a valuable technique that aids pain, recovery and rehabilitation.

Mark was one of the few physiotherapists trained by Tom Myers, the founder of the postural correction technique known as “Structural Integration”. This technique typically involving manual therapy, that explores the possibility of change in how you use and experience your body. Through education, awareness, and therapeutic touch, you can release painful, stressful patterns of tension.

Mark now works independently from his newly renovated barn in the Suffolk countryside on the outskirts of Ipswich. His facilities include a gym, which enables him to observe recovery levels more scientifically. He also works one day a week at Gilmour Associates in Woodbridge.
